Geoff Crowe

Geoff began his formal art training at 40 years old in Puerto Rico. Now at almost 65 he has 25 years of artistic development. His studies began at two different schools, La Liga de Arte and La Escuela de Artes Plasticas in Porto Rico. His first exhibition, En Accion (2004), featured a series of paintings capturing the movement and enthusiasm of children playing soccer. The Latin influence of his early training continues in the often dramatic use of color and light. A focus on movement has always been a part of his work.

Geoff often explores different mediums in his work including, acrylic, watercolor, ink, charcoal and sometimes a mix of these. He has not been shy to touch on different subjects either; children playing soccer, landscapes, horse racing, the human figure and most lately abstract expressionism.
